• Read 100 books: less pressure to read so many, so fast. More opportunities to read longer books and listen to podcasts.

• More nonfiction! (I want 33%-50% nonfiction)

• Bringing discussion questions to book club

• Leverage Social Media a bit more to share books

• Actually cooking food from the cookbooks I read

2024 Reflection!

In

• DNF books at any point, even 50% + yes we did, and I highly encourage you to do the same! Life is too short!

• Creating Spotify playlists for vibey books I did it once, for Call Me By Your Name, which you can listen to here, maybe this is something we can incorporate into our bookclubs a bit more

• Finishing all of the half-read hard copies I have around my apartment oops

• Reading with a friend book clubS (yes, multiple), baby!

• Returning to the TBR! How many hundreds of books are we going to let pile up? Went thru my Libby tags and tried to clear up the backlog and delete stuff that no longer jived

• Skipping smut scenes if I'm not into them (so many are gratuitous and don't add to the plot, and I'm OVER it! [re: too many surprise fingers in the ____ in 2023]) and cheers to skipping all of them in Onyx Storm too!

• Donating hardcopies that no longer serve you or that you never want to read or that won't be part of my classroom collection (I can no longer keep 800+ books in my apartment for aesthetic value) I might've gotten rid of close to 50?

• Finish 111 books! 115!!

2024 TBR (FLOP!)

• The Chronicles of Narnia series (I've been trying to read these for years, I'm going to prioritize this for Q1/Q2) Didn't get to :/

• Crescent City series (recommended from a trusted source) (library hold is going to take forever for these, so stay tuned for Q2/Q3) DNF

• Actually read Fourth Wing/Iron Flame (I did audio last year and I think I missed a ton of small details/plot points. Considering purchasing these) Decided this was not a priority. Anxiously awaiting my library hold of Onyx Storm! About a week go to :)

• The Hurricane Wars DNF

• Maybe in Another Life TJR foreva

• Family Meal DNF

• Much Ado about Mean Girls I did read the Legally Blonde OG book though!

• The March Series by John Lewis I really need to do this...
